ax Inc. (headquartered in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, CEO Takehiko Terada) a subsidiary of Axell Corporation (headquartered in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, CEO Kazunori Matsuura) is pleased to announce that it has joined Arm Limited’s (headquartered in Cambridge, U.K., CEO Simon Segars) Arm AI Partner Program.
The Arm AI Partner Program is one of the ecosystems Arm offers. Companies that provide machine-learning/AI hardware, software and services to customers using Arm architecture are certified as program partners.
ax is one of the few companies developing AI frameworks completely in house. Its independently developed AI framework “ailia SDK” for edge (device) inferencing enables AI inferencing on various devices, using GPUs. It performs Neon-based optimization on Arm’s Cortex, allowing high-speed inferencing on Mali GPUs using Vulkan.
ax also offers “ailia MODELS,” pre-learned AI models supported by ailia SDK. Currently there are approximately 160 models, enabling users to quickly implement AI features they need.
Expectations for using edge AI and real-time streaming are mounting as the need to process copious amounts of data, such as IoT data, in real time increases. By joining the Arm AI Partner Program and receiving technological information and marketing cooperation from Arm, ax will help customers using Arm architecture to apply edge AI early according to their specific needs.
